Grief isn't problem to be fixed. It's a natural process that happens when we lost something or someone whom we loved. Coaching will help you find ways through your grief.

It's normal to grieve, and grief and can be a puzzling place. Sometimes there are surprising layers to our grief. There's no shame in allowing someone else to help you unpack and make sense of all of that.

None taken!

I've had pets for most of my life, which means I've faced the loss of my pets many different times - pets who disappeared and never came home, sick or injured pets for whom I had to make a decision about euthanasia, pets who died in their sleep. I know how devastating the loss can be.

Beyond that, I've worked as a professional in the areal of grief for over twenty years. I trained, apprenticed with and later worked with the former staff of Elisabeth Kubler-Ross (EKR), staffing grief workshops for people from all over the world. (EKR was an international pioneer in our understanding of grief, death and dying.) 

In counseling I work with people to go deep into their feelings and issues. In coaching we identify what those feelings and issues are, and create a game plan for you to be able to deal with them. 

Because this is not therapy insurance does not cover it. It also means that I do not have to give you a mental health diagnosis.

Please plan to join the meeting a few minutes early so that we can get started on time. (Feel free to have a picture of your pet to share with me if you'd like.)
