Terms and Policies

Terms & Policies

By booking and participating in any session, workshop, or service offered by Lindsay Jackson (including breathwork, sound work, integration coaching, and related offerings), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Informed Consent & Scope of Practice

The services I offer are experiential, educational, and supportive in nature. They are designed to support self-awareness, embodiment, integration, and personal growth.

These services are not a substitute for medical care, mental health care, psychotherapy, or psychiatric treatment. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition.

I do not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, and nothing shared in sessions should be interpreted as such.

Breathwork & Somatic Practices — Contraindications

Breathwork and somatic practices can result in physical, emotional, and energetic release. For this reason, breathwork is not advised for individuals with a history of:

  • Cardiovascular disease, including angina or heart attack

  • High blood pressure

  • Glaucoma or retinal detachment

  • Osteoporosis

  • Recent significant physical injuries or recent surgery

  • Seizure disorders

  • Severe mental illness

  • Use of major medications that may be impacted by altered states

  • Personal or family history of aneurysms

If you are pregnant, breathwork is not advised without first consulting with and receiving approval from your primary care physician.

Individuals with asthma should bring their inhaler to sessions and consult with their primary care physician prior to participating.

It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant medical or psychological conditions before participating.

Integration Coaching & Preparation Sessions

Integration coaching and preparation sessions are non-directive and client-led. My role is to offer presence, reflection, nervous-system–aware support, and practical tools to help you make meaning of your experiences and integrate insights into daily life.

I do not interpret experiences for you, diagnose conditions, or provide therapeutic treatment. You remain the authority on your own experience and choices.

These services are not intended to encourage or promote the personal use of psychedelics or ethnobotanicals, and I do not provide guidance on sourcing, dosing, or use of any substances.

End-of-Life Support & Conscious Dying Services

End-of-life support services are intended to provide emotional, spiritual, practical, and presence-based support for individuals navigating serious illness, dying, grief, and related life transitions.

These services may include compassionate listening, legacy and reflection work, guidance around advance planning conversations, emotional support for loved ones, bedside presence, vigil support, and non-medical comfort care.

I am not a licensed medical provider, therapist, attorney, funeral director, or hospice provider, and I do not provide medical care, legal advice, clinical counseling, or emergency services.

End-of-life support is complementary in nature and is intended to work alongside — not replace — medical care, hospice, mental health support, or professional legal and financial guidance.

Clients and families remain responsible for all medical, legal, and end-of-life decisions.

In situations involving medical emergencies, psychological crises, or immediate safety concerns, appropriate licensed professionals and emergency services should be contacted immediately.

Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

By participating in my services, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily engaging in experiential practices and take full responsibility for your physical, emotional, mental, and energetic well-being.

You agree to release Lindsay Jackson from any liability for physical, emotional, or psychological changes that may occur during or after sessions.

Confidentiality

Your privacy is deeply respected.

All personal information shared during sessions will remain confidential and will not be shared with any third party without your written consent, except where required by law.

If you are under the age of 18, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable, and the full session fee will be surrendered.

This policy applies to single sessions and package sessions. Missed sessions (no-shows) are treated as late cancellations.

This policy exists to honor the time, preparation, and energetic container held for each session.

Agreement

By booking a session or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Policies.
