Strategy and Tactics - Making and Keeping Clients

The first thing you should know is that I never wanted to be a “business” person. I really had no plans to sell anything... ever.

It turned out that I was really good at business and sales. I was even better at creating innovative strategies to grow business. In fact, I excelled, finding my groove developing strategic plans and tactics for business growth and implementing them.

So what does this mean to you? Here are a few suggestions:
Negotiate to advantage - Get what you want; make your existing clients happy; add more
Follow the money - Improve your profitability; up-sell clients; target your perfect customer
Tell it like it is - Reach your target markets with a fresh new voice

Let's face it, you don't know me. You probably have questions. There are some answers in the "Stuff You Should Know" section below. Or, we could just sit down and have an old fashioned conversation where you decide if we can work together.

Yes, you can.
If you become my client, I will help you achieve your goals to the best of my ability. I will also give it to you straight. Your needs and requirements will be of the utmost importance.

This means that you can depend on me to help you succeed. You can depend on me to tell you when you are off base. You can depend on me to tell you the truth even if it isn’t what you want to hear.
Good question.
The best way to determine that is to get to know me. Some of my personal milestones include:
    1. Won 50% of all RFP’s responded to over a 36-month period generating $ 2.5 Million in awards
    2. Technical product differentiation training for over 1,000 engineers in a 14-state region representing over $2 billion dollars of  industry contracts
    3. Sold 180 of the nation’s 200+ food banks MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software resulting in a 25% first year increase in nationwide food distribution
    4. Largest single over-the-phone sale in Microsoft history – $1.5 Million revenue
    5. First over-the-phone sale of Navision Software in the world – $ 29,000 revenue
    6. Pioneered business to business telemarketing sales for the largest manufacturer of industrial ice cream freezers in the world doubling gross income for three consecutive years resulting in 500% overall gross increase.
Your needs and requirements are what is important.
Of course, in any business relationship there is a give and take. I will take your ideas and goals and work to give you what you want as well as what you need. You will agree to listen to my thoughts on how to achieve your needs and what is needed to implement them.

Frankly, if you’re not successful, I'm not either. That is why you can expect me to work hard to help you reach your goals. Our interests are the same.
