About Me

I’m Dr Denise Taylor, a Chartered Psychologist, author and researcher whose work explores later life, identity, work and meaning.

After decades in career psychology and coaching, my focus has increasingly shifted towards writing, research and the lived experience of ageing. I’m interested in the deeper questions that emerge as we grow older: who we are when familiar roles begin to loosen, what we want to carry forward, and how we shape a life that fits who we are now.

My work brings together psychology, personal reflection, nature and ageing. I write regularly for the i Paper, publish Ageing Reimagined on Substack, and am the author of books including Rethinking Retirement for Positive Ageing, Career Coaching for Midlife and Beyond and ThriveSpan: Walking Gently Into What Matters Now.

You can read more about my background and publications on LinkedIn, or follow my writing on Ageing Reimagined.
