Lisa Honold

Online Safety Specialist & Parent Educator

I work with busy parents and caregivers who are concerned about what their kids are exposed to online.

Cyberbullying, sexting, inappropriate content... It's a real struggle to watch your child disappear into their smart phone for hours. My clients ask questions like "How much time online is healthy?" "What is my teen getting exposed to on social media?" and "How can I help my kids make good choices?"

Whether you're in the middle of a "digital crisis" or starting to learn about online safety in "preventive mode", I can help.

What separates my service from other Parent Educators is my experience and track record. I've spent years studying the digital landscape and the best ways to keep kids safe. I've been featured in the Wall Street Journal as an expert in Online Safety. I'm constantly learning from a parent perspective too, as I'm in the trenches, with 3 technology-loving tweens/teens of my own. I'm a certified Martha Beck Life Coach, Stengthening Families Facilitator and a Positive Discipline Parent Coach with years of experience. Because of this, my clients get real-life strategies and proven methods to guide their youth and keep them safe online.

Best of all, my respect-based methods bond and connect you as a family. This training is life-changing.

Thank you so much for the concrete solutions you give parents to implement. Your message of online safety for kids is one all parents, educators and community members should hear.

Lisa recently gave her presentation for parents called “Be the Guard Rails” at the Langley Library. Her materials were organized and concise, and she provided a clear plan of action for parents and other concerned caregivers with her 5 Circles of Online Safety System. Lisa’s style was open and friendly and she invited questions and discussions from attendees, sharing her own personal experiences and welcoming others’ input. The audience was engaged and appreciative of gaining important knowledge that pointed a clear way forward for how to better guide their kids. I highly recommend Lisa’s program to other concerned parents and educators.
