Having low self-esteem can be devastating. I spent the better part of my teenage years as well as my early twenties battling it. I tried telling myself I didn't have a problem. I pretended that nothing was wrong while I continued to make decisions that didn't benefit my wellbeing at all.
I drank too much. I partied too much. I stayed in bad relationships too long. All that stuff only numbed the pain and gave me more to feel depressed about. It seemed to be a never-ending cycle of insanity. I kept doing the same things while expecting a different result. Have you struggled with the same issues?
Well, you're in the right place. I'm Sophia Antoine, a certified life coach. I've walked a mile in your shoes. In fact, I've walked several. The last straw was when I allowed myself to stay in my last relationship too long. I repeatedly forgave cheating, theft, and maltreatment several times over. There were promises of change that never seemed to manifest.
Something inside me broke and instead of ignoring it, I paid close attention and worked to heal it. That was more than 15 years ago.

I am certified in several areas like Relationship, Forgiveness, and Rewriting Your Life Story, but my true qualifications came from doing the hard work of not liking myself to learning to love myself. I understand what its like to be where you are. It's not your fault. You've only been acting on information that you've been given thus far.
Since doing the necessary work of dealing with my shattered emotions and low self-esteem, I have been able to be a better wife and mother. Previously, my children were able to pick up on my negative vibes when I was insecure and unsure of myself. I didn't want to pass that on to them.
