Body and Energy Therapies for you and your pets
My practice embraces Whole Energy Body Balance (WEBB) Bodywork for pets and Energy work for animals as taught by Dr Edward Bassingthwaighte BVSc(HonsII).
I am a WEBB Practitioner and Method Teacher for animals. I am also a practicing Kinergetics practitioner.
Hi I am Sandra Beams and I live in Tasmania and travel regularly to Western Australia. I work as a Practitioner and Teacher in both locations.
I am very passionate about animals and their wellbeing and have been since I was a very young child taking in stray cats and kittens.
I learnt extensive animal husbandry and emergency care skills through necessity and was able to teach these skill to staff and volunteers assisting with the orphaned and injured animal volunteer program that I set up on the West Coast of Tasmania
Whilst continuing my journey with the animals I was introduced to Energy work in the form of Reiki which I used on the animals in my care. I then progressed to working with people doing massage and Kinergetics (a form of Kinesiology). Through my Kinergetics training I learnt a lot about how the body works and how we hold trauma within our bodies – I could then see that what I was learning was very relevant to our beloved pets.
My passion is to give animals a more relaxed and stress free life and in turn help their guardians. As a practitioner and teacher of the WEBB method I am able to follow my passion and learn from the many animals that pass through my life.
I have continued learning different techniques and modalities to enhance my capability to work with animals and provide what they need at the time. I have participated in courses on animal kinesiology, colour therapy, crystal therapy, bach flowers, animal communication, the trust technique, and Masterson Method.
We all have different animals and different things going on in our lives, our animals respond to what is going on around them and us and this can impact on their health and wellbeing.
Challenges that I am able to assist with are seperation anxiety, behaviour issues, pain (diagnosed and undiagnosed), pre and post operative care, or you may suspect that there is something not quite right. I am always happy to have a chat to you and your animal and will refer to a vet or other therapist for further investigation when required.
I am not a vet, so do not diagnose but am happy to confirm any of your concerns and refer you to your vet for confirmation and a care plan.

"Sandra is truly passionate and eager for her students to develop their communication and relationship with their dogs. Her use of demonstration and clear explanation of the WEBB techniques, throughout the workshop has helped develop my bond with my eleven years old golden retriever even further.
The workshop was an amazing experience, packed full with WEBB Bodywork techniques and skills that I can practice at home with my dog.
Sandra kept the workshop very interesting and kept in mind the diversity of the participants. She always acknowledged each person’s contribution and was acutely aware of the needs of the pets involved.
It was an excellent workshop, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to develop their practice in Bodywork techniques as a practitioner and/or those wanting to deepen their bond and communication with their pet.’’

"I attended a WEBB bodywork for pets workshop with Sandra, it was very informative and enjoyable with a good mix of theory and practical. Sandra clearly knows her stuff and did a great job conveying the information and demonstrating the various techniques.
I highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for ways to increase their pet's quality of life."
