A Bit About Qigong
The purpose of Qigong healing is to gently place your body and its organ systems and energy (meridian) systems back into balance and to remove energy blockages. It restores the free-flow of energy through all your body systems. Your body will then be well-prepared to heal itself.
Qigong will help you to improve physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual blockages of all types. It's not just a woo-woo healing modality. The Mayo Clinic and other hospitals and universities use Qigong regularly to help their patients heal.
Qigong originated in China and has been used successfully to help people heal for 7,000 years. Studies in the U.S. have just begun as a result of scientists witnessing great success with patients using Qigong.
The Mayo clinic's Integrative Cancer Center is currently studying the effects of Qigong and "Tai Chi Easy" on the fatigue experienced by breast cancer patients. This is in collaboration with Arizona State University and Dr. Roger Jahnke, OMD, through a $3 million grant.
The Mayo Clinic has completed successful studies to show Qigong's ability to reduce or eliminate pain, and to treat depression and bipolar disorder. The study results are available online. Ask me if you're interested.
