Jennifer Burke

Strategic Storyteller - Marketing Trainer

Jennifer E. Burke is a marketing consultant, trainer and coach based outside Philadelphia, PA.  She's known as a marketing soothsayer, strategic storyteller, and library marketing expert. She calls B.S. on the 'advice' given to many organizations and especially to solopreneurs. She loves helping solopreneurs blow up the obstacles stopping them from attracting the 'right-for-them' clients they love. She helps clients figure out the marketing that works for them and stops the tactics carousel for smarter marketing, fewer marketing headaches, and a more compelling message. What's your marketing story?

If you're a library or nonprofit looking for training, professional development or C.E check out my IntelliCraft site and blog here.
If you're a busy solopreneur or small biz owner who needs marketing advice and to get past your techie troubles - check out tips and more at MightyMarketingMojo here.

Need more details? Ok ...
I have a B.S. in Communications with a TV/Film minor from Northwestern University, an M.S.L.I.S. from Drexel University, and spent 5 years as an IMLS Fellow in Drexel’s Information Studies Ph.D. program working on digital libraries and education. I'm a former advertising/marketing executive who is capable of speaking, and translating, both “marketing-ese” and “library lingo”. I lead workshops, courses and webinars across the country for libraries and info pros to be strategic storytellers. I coach small biz owners and solopreneurs on getting started, creating a plan or blasting past tech troubles so they attract the clients they want and love. I was the author of Info Today’s Marketing Library Services newsletter “Tools You Can Use” column and I hosted my own monthly ‘Marketing Tool Talk’ webinar series for more than 2 years. I'm a member of multiple library professional associations/chapters; have served as the Director of Marketing on Board of Directors for AIIP; have advised the open-access Marketing Library Journal, and I'm the founding President of the Board for the nonprofit Library Marketing Conference Group (which puts on the successful Library Marketing and Communications Conference).
