Last week Mr. Cedrick LaFleur came and did leadership training with my team and I personally LOVED it. The girls opened up and shared personal stories about their past that I didn't even know. Some of the things they took away from this leadership lesson was 1. Effective communication 2. Make & Keep Goals3. Go the extra mile

These are things we as coaches repeatedly tell our athletes however sometimes it takes a professional like Mr. LaFleur to get the message through. The week after the training the girls shocked me. I was amazed at how quickly they applied the lessons they learned to the court. #HonestMoment at first I wasn’t exactly excited about this season BUT now. I am!! Even more excited that the girls came up with something they wanted to implement in their team huddle "He who kneels before God can stand before anyone".

I can't say "Be 212" because that's another schools motto but I will say this group of girls will go the extra mile! Thank You Cedrick for the new outlook on this season you have given myself and this team! I truly appreciate it!
