Lyndsay Hall

Writer, Editor, Founder of Sevilla Writers House

Lyndsay earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles; while there she served as managing editor for the program’s literary journal, Lunch Ticket.  She attended the Sackett Street Writers’ Workshop, New York University’s Writers in New York program, and the Bread Loaf Conference in Sicily. Lyndsay has been the first reader of submissions for Slice, Antioch University’s Lunch Ticket Special, and Union Literary, an agency. She served as the executive editor of Writopia Lab’s 10 year anniversary anthology. Her writing has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and published online and in print.

Lyndsay is a genuine and enthusiastic editor. She is insightful and offers thoughtful feedback. Her knowledge of structure, grammar, and style was so helpful in shaping my book into the one I had envisioned. She truly cares about her work and the people she works with. She intuitively seemed to find the areas I had doubts about and offered helpful suggestions and clarity without being presumptuous. She went above and beyond when it came to our collaboration and I look forward to working with her on future projects!

Lyndsay has helped edit numerous papers of mine, from graduate school application letters to papers for graduate school. She provided prompt feedback and helped me to become more creative in my writing style. I have been able to take her notes and suggestions, and apply them to my other writing. She is very professional, and I will definitely be using her for my future publications!
