About Me

As an African American therapist with both real-world experience and evidence-based clinical training, I bring a balance of professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and have dedicated my career to helping individuals heal, grow, and reclaim control of their lives.

My approach is personal, direct, and purpose-driven. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy; every client receives guidance that is tailored, authentic, and grounded in proven methods.

I operate under the core belief that people are the way they are for a reason. Together, we identify the experiences, thought patterns, and behaviors that have shaped your life. From there, we build insight, develop practical strategies, and create a clear path forward—whether you are working through anxiety, depression, addiction, or life transitions.

Therapy with me is not just about talking—it’s about movement. It’s about having a plan.

Without structure, there is no growth. That’s why I help my clients:

  • Set clear, meaningful goals
  • Apply evidence-based tools that work
  • Stay accountable to the life they say they want

My work is also influenced by my book, Power People, which teaches that no one succeeds alone. True transformation happens when you build the right internal and external support systems—and learn how to lead your own life with intention.

If you’re ready to stop repeating patterns, gain clarity, and move forward with purpose, I’m here to help you do exactly that.

This is the therapist I am.
