Hypnobirthing Australia™ + Postnatal Specialist

Hello!

I am a Brisbane-based pregnancy and motherhood coach, a Hypnobirthing Childbirth Educator, and a certified postnatal specialist.
I work with women who are planning a pregnancy, already pregnant, or in the early years of motherhood.
I help my clients do pregnancy, birth, and motherhood THEIR WAY
When you take the time to figure out what you want pregnancy, birth, and motherhood to look like and to feel like, then you can experience the amazing transformation and true empowerment that comes with growing, birthing, and mothering your beautiful baby.

Were you thrilled to see that positive pregnancy test but are now feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood?

Are you experiencing information overload, finding it hard to simply enjoy the amazing privilege of carrying, growing, loving a baby.

Are you fearful of birth...or perhaps just apprehensive of all the unknowns?

Are you wanting to make all the right decisions but you aren't sure where to turn for information, which advice to trust, and how to apply all that you are learning to you and your baby?

Are you ready to move forward?
To start enjoying your pregnancy, looking forward to your birth, and loving being a mother?
To release these feelings of overwhelm and fear?
To replace them with feelings of calm and confidence?

I have been where you are now!
I know those feelings of uncertainty, of doubt, of fear.
And I know what you need to do to have a positive experience!

If you know what service you need, you can go ahead and book a Hypnobirthing Group Course, a Pregnancy and Birth Planning session, a Birth Debrief, or The MAMA Circle below.

If you are unsure where to begin, I would love to offer you a FREE 30 minute session where we can get clear on the support you need.

Please book a slot using the calendar tool and we'll catch up soon!

Hypnobirthing is both a philosophy of birthing and a set of proven, evidence-based techniques.
The hypno part of hypnobirthing refers to the hypnotherapy that we use during the program to release fears and to condition ourselves to release endorphins during birth.
When a mother and her birth companion are able to approach birth without fear and with knowledge, good support, and tools they are confident using…then their birthing can be a positive and empowering experience.
I often get asked when to take hypnobirthing and the answer is really whenever you are ready and can fit it in!  Usually I recommend sometime between 25 and 32weeks as that gives you plenty of time to practice the techniques and get confident using them.
We focus on the physiology of birth as once you know what your body and your baby are doing, you are able to make informed and empowered choices about your care. The tools we teach can be used by the birth mother and by the birth partner.  We really view the partner as a crucial part of the birthing team who, while they are supporting you, also has an individual experience. But the biggest difference has to do with mindset.  Hypnobirthing is all about viewing birth as a positive normal life event.  We do talk about functional pain but we talk about it in a supportive way and give you strategies to cope.  We do talk about interventions but we provide you with education about what may be suggested and give you a decision making framework.
