When I look back at my parenting journey someday, it will most definitely include the thoughtful guidance from Nicole. When my oldest turned two and her baby sister was born, I reached out to Nicole for help. I had been following her articles for some time, and finally decided to sign up for her parent coaching. Through incredibly accommodating counseling sessions, I was able to navigate the waters of sibling introduction and rivalry successfully. Nicole was there, with a patient voice, kind words of advice and a listening ear. As a stay at home mom, with two under two, my social world was also shrinking. I have often thought of Nicole as a friend over the years; a very wise, very patient, friend and teacher. We recently introduced a third baby to the mix, which has been both wonderful and chaotic at the same time. As if no time had passed, I was able to reconnect with Nicole to discuss these new challenges. It's a testament to the connection she makes with her clients, that it felt so comforting starting parent coaching back up again. Nicole is teaching me calm parenting tactics, how to work with my toddler's big feelings, and how to prioritize my own wellness through it all. She is one email away, one phone call away, and I find myself looking forward to our sessions. She is the most flexible therapist you will find. There is no way I could seek help with my 3 little ones on such a regular basis, if she did not offer the video conferencing option. I will be forever grateful to Nicole for how she has helped my family.
