Mindset Coach, recovering shoeholic.

What would happen if you gave up looking for other people's answers and started looking at your questions instead? What are you here for? What's holding you back? How can you turn your life around? What does your happiness look like?

I’m def not an organizing guru ( that would be clear as day if you saw my desk). I’m more of a THROW AWAY the emotional baggage and ugly jumpers that do nothing for you ( except keep you warm and scare strangers) type of guru.

Let's get systems in place, and make the difficult less complicated. That's what I'm known for; I bring clarity to the game.

SHOULD YOU WORK WITH ME?

-Do you lack direction?

-Are you procrastinating?

-Do you feel like there are too many choices?

-Do you want more clarity?

HERE ARE SOME RANDOM RAMBLES ABOUT ME

My vacation goes something like this; Chilling by the pool sucking on my Frozen Margarita. 20 minutes into working on my brain freeze ….. OMG, that kid is drowning, Jumps in the pool (true story). I like solving problems more than I like creating them. I’m a drama-free zone! I’m also not going to wait for the lifeguard to wake up from his nap! I’m not telling this life-saving story to get the medal I clearly deserve, but to illustrate how I go about life. I chill when I can and I take action when it’s required!

Happiness is the ocean, feelings are the waves. Accepting your feelings doesn’t mean you let them rule your world, make your decisions. Easier said than done right!? But it’s possible. You need methods and a lot of practice to carry out what you were meant to do – without turning jaded. If your life is perfect, but you’re an unhappy bitch (mean girl, bitter dude, crazy road rager, etc.), you’re doing it wrong!

I’ve had a few margaritas, pools and shoe shopping. It’s great fun, except for the lounging by the pool for longer than 23 minutes. I don’t get it. Apart from pulling drowning kids and drunks from the bottom of the basin, pool lounging always bores the hell out of me. I’d rather buy some more shoes, or even better, climb remote mountain tops to meet Buddhist Lamas. Well, not always mountain tops, I just added that for some extra drama.

I got into Buddhism early on. It came naturally to me. The freedom, the logic, the methods. Most people think Buddhism is about renouncing the world and eating rice for the rest of your life. It can be if you want. That’s kinda the point here. You’re free to choose your path. There are many roads to happiness, but you can’t get there using someone else GPS unless you ride with them. I’m here to offer myself as your co-pilot.

MY PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

In the eighties, I went to Paris to study make-up and French for a year. Instead of working as a makeup artist I started a graphic design company with a guy I found there. We started a family and company at the same time. This was a tiny company mainly designing schoolbooks, magazines, and fonts. Disney and McDonald's were among the companies using our products. My partner in crime and I divorced, but the company kept going for many years.

After 10 years working mostly with computers (Hello Macintosh II!), I wanted to work with real humans again. I've worked since I was 14, so that's why I'm saying again. I wasn't just leisurely chilling until I moved to Paris. So anyhow, this led me to become a Shiatsu Therapist. My teacher (Hi John!) got me hooked on Nine Star Ki.

I obtained my Shiatsu certification and enrolled in Cosmetology school back to back. After graduating from the Cosmetology School, I thought to myself, ok, I know make-up, shiatsu, beauty. I'm able to design my business cards and I know how to run a business. Not to mention, as a single mother I'm also pretty good at managing adorable people that make unreasonable demands. This was the start of my day spa business that gave me 16 years of eventful, interesting, fun, and, challenging times.

In 2013 I became a certified coach.

I started thinking of making this website in 2014. It’s been a lot of thinking and making since then. I allowed the process to lead me. All I knew was that I wanted to create something that combines the things I like, I’m good at, and might be useful for someone out there.

MY SECRET WEAPONS FOR EVERYDAY LIFE

Nine Star Ki for planning and time management.

Buddhist meditation for attaining insight and inner freedom through discipline.

Life Coaching for brain hacks and goal setting.

Healthy living to keep my body young.

Constantly learning something new to evolve my thinking.

Humor to make it through the madness called life.

I found Nina being really supportive. Knowing that I don't need to beat myself up for procrastination and rather set up small achievable goals and then praise myself for doing it. taking it "step by step" and knowing that I am still doing well.

I loved the numerology part and the summary of the most important points in the discussion.

Thank you so much for explaining everything to me with patience. Since the call I've been organizing my future steps based on what I learned. I understood many aspects of me. I recommend Nina's sessions to everybody. We all need to know ourselves better.

Nina encourages by reminding me to embrace who I am and focusing on tiny steps forward. I found the call was helpful as a good reminder to connect to my intuition as related to my business growth.

The discussion was a good reminder to allow my path to unfold for me especially when I am feeling stuck. There was also the aspect of pressing on and growing from my strengths despite having voices in my head.

The call created clarity and mentioned a few things I wasn’t aware of yet. Also where my focus should be in the next few months!

Coaching helps you find your calling and reach your goal(s), by asking you questions and by giving you tasks, challenging and working on your mindset. It's about making deadlines and holding you accountable.

My coaching package is 9 weeks long, but can be customized depending on your needs. The timeline will be decided at the discovery call.

On the discovery call, I'm mainly asking questions to find out what I can do for you, and if we're the right fit. There's absolutely no need to be worried that I'm going to push you into a paid session if you're not feeling it.
Generally online. Once you book a call, you'll receive a link to Zoom. Follow the link, click a few buttons and you're on. The sessions will be recorded, so you can watch them later if you so wish.
Only if it appeals to you. I use Nine Star Ki to take the mundane out of everyday life. This way every year and every month has a theme. I'm not dogmatic in any way, I do it because it's inspiring and fun. However, I'm result orientated, so whatever works for you, works for me.
Absolutely! I have a separate package for this, but I'm also incorporating it in my general 9 Star Ki coaching when applicable.
I'm serious about physical wellbeing as it affects us in so many ways. I want people to feel better so they'll do better. The answer is of course!
