You may have heard, IBM is acquiring Red Hat for 34 Billion. Also consider Red Hat offers all their software for free. The Red Hat CEO gave a famous presentation saying PLANNING IS DEAD. It's a great presentation...in short, the world is moving too quickly; plans are outdated before they are even complete.
So what's the answer? Learn and modify.
I apply this approach to digital initiatives. For some companies, I tweak Ecommerce wayfaring. For others I build real-time dashboards. For others, I apply data science machine learning to find some sweet spot. Sometimes I tell them the harsh truth that their agency doing a good job or that their traffic is bogus. In most cases, we work on low hanging fruit like automating sales funnels or digital workflow.
