RebrandYou is a career coaching service for immigrants to Canada who want to gain confidence in their new setting and present themselves proudly in the job market. I also help teachers and educators build a new career in Instructional Design and Learning & Development, and I have a specific program for building confidence in speaking business English. I'm Azadeh, your coach in rebranding yourself and your career in Canada. I've walked this path as an immigrant myself, so I coach from lived experience, not theory.

Yes. Teachers already bring skills that Instructional Designers, course designers, and learning developers use every day: planning, learning, assessing needs, and explaining complex ideas clearly. Moving into Instructional Design, course design, or learning development is a career change, and your teaching experience is a strong foundation for it. At RebrandYou, I help you translate that experience into the language of the field.

Your experience has value, and how it counts depends on the path you choose. If you want to teach in Canadian K-12 schools, you'll need a teaching certificate, and the requirements depend on the province where you plan to teach. That is a separate path, and your provincial certification body is the place to start. If you decide on a different, relevant path instead, that's where I can help. Many newcomers find their resume doesn't get responses even with strong credentials, and I've been through that myself. I help you reposition your background so employers can see what you bring. We also identify any gaps between your current experience and your target role, and I suggest ways to fill them, whether that's building knowledge, skills, or Canadian-market familiarity.

• The VIP Rebrand Experience (6 sessions): personalized one-on-one coaching with hands-on resume and cover letter support, a plan for closing your skill gaps, and interview preparation with practice runs. VIP clients also get daily WhatsApp access to me between sessions and email support with a 24-hour response time

It's a 7-week live cohort for teachers who are ready to step into Instructional Design. It runs quarterly with limited seats so everyone gets real attention. You'll come out of the program with a well-designed portfolio piece, built with my feedback, that you can share with hiring managers. I'm a Learning & Development professional with a background in teaching. I hold a CELTA and DELTA from Cambridge and have designed training in Canada for the airline industry and sales, as well as online programs for CDI College in oil and gas, paralegal technology, and early childhood education. After moving to Canada, my own resume got no interviews at first for teaching English, despite those certificates,and a masters degree, so I know this path from the inside.
